When I decided to take up blogging again, I had a list of ideas of what to write about. I honestly thought that I would manage a post per week – but so far, I have managed six in nine months! Not very impressive, so I have a plan to better my statistics:
Last year I was asked to write 14 short devotions for the two weeks leading up to Easter and since tomorrow there will be two weeks to Easter Sunday, I have decided to post these devotions, one per day, for the next two week. It will help me feel a bit better about blogging, if anyone can be blessed, encouraged or challenged by them it will be an added benefit.
During this little series, entitled 'Walking with Jesus - Living for Jesus', we will look at various people Jesus encountered on his way to Jerusalem and Calvary. Each day we will consider a new person and seek to draw out lessons that can help us to move forward in our walk with Jesus. My prayer is that it also will encourage us to live more devotedly as his disciples.
We begin tomorrow looking at someone, who went over and above what was expected of him.
